Willow by Craig Middleton – The basic question that I am asking when I am painting is; ‘Is the colour important?’. I would not interfere with the viewers response to my paintings or to that question. It is up to them to form their own ideas. Having said that, I would say that in my opinion colour is vital and makes life worthwhile. This painting is a celebration of that concept.
